Quick answer

Single Seater Quad — what this package actually is

This is the most-booked quad on our ATV fleet. The Single Seater is the recreational-class workhorse — heavier than the COBRA, more torque, more compliant suspension across the deeper crests, and the route runs the full red-dune loop instead of the flat-track + gentle-crossing format. The right pick for a guest who has ridden a quad before (even once), a confident first-time rider, or anyone who explicitly wants the deeper dune line on the standard 30 or 60-minute window.

You ride. The lead rider runs in front of the convoy on a sister bike, reads the dune line for you, and signals the pace. Pre-ride briefing covers throttle, brake, body position, dune-crest etiquette, body-weight transfer on a slope, and what to do if the rear wheel washes out on a soft crest. Helmet sized on the spot; closed shoes mandatory; long sleeves recommended.

Vehicle and route detail

Engine and chassis: standard recreational-class quad, around 250–400cc depending on the unit available on your date. Automatic transmission — no gear changes — but the throttle response is sharper than the COBRA, and the bike has more torque on tap when you ask for it on a slope. Suspension is mid-weight: more compliance than the COBRA, less than the Yamaha Grizzly. Wider tyre profile for the deeper sand of the red-dune route. Fuel tank sized for the full 60-minute loop without a refuel stop.

Route: a private desert plot south-east of Dubai, on the same plot system as the rest of the ATV fleet. The 30-minute Single Seater window completes a shorter red-dune lap with one photo stop. The 60-minute window completes the full red-dune loop with two photo stops and a brief refreshment break. Total ride distance is 6–10 km depending on convoy pace and the dune line for the day. Sunset window opens an extra photo stop on a flat sand bowl with horizon-lit dune ridges.

Convoy structure: lead rider in front, sweep rider on the back for groups of three or more bikes, off-grid radio between the two. Mobile signal is patchy on the deeper red-dune route; the support vehicle carries first-aid kit, water and a spare helmet for everyone in the group.

Booking-to-drop-off flow

Eight steps from message to home for the most-booked quad on the fleet.

  1. WhatsApp +971 52 440 9525 with date, group size and pickup hotel.
  2. Confirmation message: pickup time, meeting-point pin, vehicle assignment, dress checklist.
  3. Pickup vehicle (4×4 with belts and air-con) collects you 30–45 minutes before ride start.
  4. On arrival you sign a brief damage waiver, receive your helmet and gloves, and confirm the riding order in your group.
  5. Pre-ride briefing in person — controls, throttle modulation, body position, dune-crest etiquette, weight transfer on slopes.
  6. Convoy departs in agreed order. Lead rider in front; sweep rider on the back for groups of 3+ bikes.
  7. Mid-loop water and photo stop. On the 60-minute window there is a brief refreshment break before the second crest sequence.
  8. Drop-off back to your pickup hotel. Door-to-door is roughly 90 minutes (30-min) to 3 hours (60-min).

Safety and rider eligibility

No UAE driving licence required. Minimum age on the Single Seater route is 16 (adult consent for 16-17). Honest medical declaration is expected — back, neck, shoulder, recent surgery and pregnancy histories should be flagged at booking. The route physics on a single-seater quad is more forgiving than a dirt bike, but a fall lands harder than on a four-seat buggy.

Closed shoes mandatory; long sleeves recommended; elbow / knee guards available on request. We will not run a guest visibly under the influence of alcohol; the briefing has a standard check. See the operator approach on /safety-certifications/.

Best window

October to April is the operating window for full-day flexibility. Sunset slots are the most-booked — the cooler ride feel, the photo stops with horizon light, and the convoy line at golden hour all justify the price tier. November and December weekend sunset windows book up 5–7 days ahead — message early.

Summer (June–August) is sunrise and sunset only. Mid-day rides in full kit are not safe with surface temperatures above 50°C. We will not run them. During Ramadan, pickup times shift around iftar; message us with the date and we return the adjusted timetable.

Pricing transparency

AED 250 per bike for the 30-minute Single Seater Quad window. This is the published rate, the same rate honoured on WhatsApp, the same rate at the meeting point. No booking-fee markup, no convenience surcharge, no peak-hour multiplier. The 60-minute upgrade is quoted on WhatsApp because it varies slightly by season and group size. Hotel pickup inside the standard Dubai zone is bundled with the 60-min and longer windows.

Combo rates: Single Seater + evening safari is one of the most-booked combinations on the site. Group rates kick in from four bikes booked together. See /pricing/.

Common booking mistakes

  • Picking the COBRA when you wanted the deeper red-dune route — upgrade to the Single Seater on the next visit
  • Picking the Single Seater on a tight schedule with no buffer — pickup time is fixed, returning to a meeting / dinner inside 90 minutes is risky on the 30-min window
  • Wearing sandals or shorts — closed shoes mandatory, no exceptions
  • Booking mid-day in July — surface temperature is the binding constraint, not the engine
  • Forgetting to mention a back / neck / surgery history at booking — the briefing will not let it pass on the day

For confident first-time riders and recreational riders

Confident first-time riders — the Single Seater 60-minute window is the right pick. You get the full red-dune loop, two photo stops, and the convoy structure that matches the most-booked-on-the-site shape. If you have any doubt about your confidence, start with the COBRA on a 30-min window.

Recreational riders — this is the platform you came for. Longer dune line, sharper throttle response than the COBRA, softer than the Grizzly, and the most flexible duration choices on the fleet.

Group bookings of 4+ — the Single Seater is the most common platform for group bookings. The convoy structure (lead + sweep + radio + support vehicle) scales cleanly to groups of six or eight bikes. Group rate kicks in from four bikes booked together.
