Deluxe Balloon Flight + Breakfast — what this package actually is
This is the most-booked balloon package on the site. Same 1-hour sunrise flight as the Standard tier — same airframe, same GCAA-approved pilot crew, same launch site, same cruise altitude — but the morning continues at the desert camp after you land instead of heading straight back to the hotel. Pickup vehicle collects you between 03:45 and 04:30, the flight runs at sunrise, and the post-landing camp programme adds breakfast, camel ride and falconry before the drive back.
Drop-off back at hotel is by 10:00, an hour later than the Standard package. The extra hour buys you a substantively different morning: a sit-down breakfast on a sand-bowl camp setting, a working camel ride at the camp grounds and a falconry presentation by a qualified handler with a live falcon.
After-landing camp programme
After the controlled landing the ground crew shuttles guests by 4×4 to a private desert camp 10–15 minutes away. The camp is set up specifically for the post-balloon breakfast — rugs, low tables, shaded seating, fresh juices, hot coffee, full hot-and-cold buffet with eggs cooked to order, breads, cheeses, fruits, pastries, and a vegetarian / vegan / halal / gluten-free section.
Camel ride at the camp: a working camel with a Bedouin handler walks you on a short loop inside the camp grounds. Around 5–8 minutes per ride. The camel ride here is the same ride included in our standalone AED 150 desert camel package — at the Deluxe balloon tier, you do not pay extra for it.
Falconry: a qualified handler presents a live falcon (typically a saker falcon or a peregrine), explains the Emirati falconry tradition, and demonstrates the bird's flight to a lure. The presentation runs about 15 minutes. Photo opportunities are part of the staging — you can hold the falcon on a leather glove with the handler at your side.

Children, age and medical
Children 5+ are welcome in the basket with an accompanying adult. The post-landing camp programme is family-friendly: the breakfast service has child-portion options, the camel ride is suitable for kids over 4 (with a parent on the saddle for very young children), and the falconry handler is comfortable around children — a kid wearing the falcon on a glove is one of the most-photographed moments at the camp.
Medical contraindications for the flight itself are unchanged from the Standard tier: recent surgery (<6 weeks), severe back issues, late-stage pregnancy, severe vertigo. The post-landing camp programme is gentle — sit-down breakfast, walking camel ride, photo-led falconry presentation — and is suitable for guests who skipped the basket flight but accompanied a partner. Message us if anyone in your party is on a "ground only" plan; the camp portion is bookable as a stand-alone for non-flying companions.
Best season and best month
Operating window October–April. November, December and January peak. Honeymooners and couples typically book the Deluxe tier 2–3 weeks ahead of weekend dates in November–February to lock in the strongest sunset light at the camp breakfast. February and March remain excellent; pollen is higher in March.
June, July and August: flights paused. May and September: date-by-date — message us with the candidate date for the live answer.
Pricing transparency
From AED 1,149 per adult for the Deluxe package. Children 5–12 reduced rate confirmed at booking. The AED 100 difference between Standard and Deluxe covers the camp breakfast, camel ride and falconry presentation; this is the most-booked tier on the site because the per-AED value of the post-landing programme is high relative to booking the camel ride and falconry separately.
Group rates kick in from six adults on the same flight date. Honeymoon and anniversary packages can be combined with the camp programme for a small staging supplement (cake, rose petals on the breakfast table, dedicated photographer). See /pricing/.
Common booking mistakes
- Booking Standard then asking to add the camp breakfast on the morning — the camp is set up by headcount; same-day add-on is not always possible
- Forgetting dietary preferences at booking — the camp kitchen prepares portions in advance
- Booking June–August — flights do not operate
- Booking with a 4-year-old — minimum age 5 in the basket; the camel ride at the camp accepts younger children with a parent
- Trying to bring a drone — prohibited around active balloon flights, plus the camp prefers no aerial photography during the breakfast service
For couples, honeymooners and post-flight photographers
Couples and honeymooners — this is the package built for you. The camp breakfast on a sand-bowl with the dunes catching golden hour light is the Dubai-honeymoon photo most guests remember. Tell us at booking if it's a honeymoon or anniversary; the camp staging adjusts (rose petals on the breakfast table is a no-charge add).
Photographers — the falconry presentation is the strongest single-frame photo opportunity in the camp programme. The camel ride against the landed balloon is the second. December–February for the warmest light at the camp.
Visitors who want one big morning — Deluxe is the right pick if you want the flight + camp programme but do not have the stamina or schedule for the full Premium All-Day product. Drop-off by 10:00 leaves you the rest of the day for Dubai sights.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Standard and Deluxe?
Same flight (same airframe, same pilot crew). Deluxe adds a gourmet camp breakfast, camel ride at the camp, and a falconry presentation after landing. Drop-off is by 10:00 instead of 09:00.
Is the camp breakfast vegetarian/halal-friendly?
Yes — full hot-and-cold buffet with eggs cooked to order, breads, cheeses, fruits and dedicated vegetarian/vegan/halal/gluten-free sections. Flag dietary preferences at booking.
Is the camp camel ride the same as the standalone camel package?
Same partner, same handler discipline, same welfare rotation. Around 5–8 minutes per ride at the camp. The standalone AED 150 desert camel package is longer (15–20 min) and covers a marked dune route.
Can I bring a non-flying companion to the camp?
Yes — message us. The camp portion is bookable as a stand-alone for non-flying companions at a reduced rate.
Why is Deluxe the most-booked tier?
The AED 100 difference over Standard covers breakfast, camel and falconry — products which would cost more booked separately. Couples and honeymooners pick Deluxe for the strongest morning programme without the full-day stamina demand of Premium.
